It researches your idea, drafts the company that would carry it out, and runs its departments on scheduled shifts on your own server, with your own Claude account. Every model call stays inside a budget, code checks the work before anything ships, and nothing that costs money happens without your approval.

How it works
1. Genesis: idea to direction
Give it one line about a business and answer up to eight questions. It researches eight areas on the web and keeps only claims whose quotes code found word for word in the source page. It writes a go or no-go recommendation with kill criteria, and a critic tries to break it. Then it drafts departments, budget shares and a 30/60/90-day roadmap. Nothing is switched on until you approve.
2. Departments on shifts
You describe the company once, in a folder you own. Starter departments cover strategy, research, content, SEO, marketing, ops, dev and security. They run on scheduled shifts, each inside the budget you set.
3. Improves itself, behind gates
A new prompt or model choice must beat the current one on an eval set the agents cannot weaken, then win on a small share of real work, then pass the merge gate. If the numbers drop afterwards, it is reverted on its own.
4. Shows its work
A public proof feed, written by code from fixed sentences and checked by a strict leak gate, shows what the company did, how it improved and how healthy it is.
Safety by design
- A sandbox with nothing in it. Every model call in the daily work runs in an empty directory with no tools, no MCP servers and no OS secrets. The model returns text, and code checks it before using it.
- Budgets first. Every model call stays inside a budget, and a genesis run has a dollar cap checked before its first call.
- You approve. Agents never create accounts or pay for anything. Requests reach you with options, sourced costs and risks. Third-party code is tried in a locked container before it is proposed.
- Rules it cannot change. The constitution that judges every change is outside the agents' reach.

FAQ
What do I need to run it?
A server with Ubuntu 24.04 (22.04 also works) and root access, and your own Claude account: a subscription or an Anthropic API key. Telegram is optional, for approvals. Docker is optional, for the Dev department and for trying third-party code.
Who pays for model usage?
You do, directly: Anthropic bills your own account. SoloAgentX keeps every call inside the budgets you set, but nobody can promise that a given plan or budget is enough for your workload.
Is anything hosted for me?
No. It runs on your server with your Claude account. Nothing is hosted for you, and it sends no telemetry.
Can the agents spend my money?
No. Agents never create accounts or pay for anything. When a department needs an outside resource, you get a request with options, sourced costs and risks. Only your approval says yes; silence means no.
How does the price work?
One payment buys a lifetime license, with no subscription. The price only goes up as licenses sell: it never drops, and there are no discounts or coupons. Starting checkout holds one license at the price shown for 15 minutes, and you pay that price.
Who handles the payment and tax?
Polar.sh, as merchant of record. Polar takes the payment and collects and remits US sales tax and EU VAT. Prices are in US dollars.
How do I get the software?
Through access to the private source repository on GitHub, sent to the email you use at checkout. The license covers one company on one server.
Is SoloAgentX made by Anthropic?
No. SoloAgentX is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic. It uses the Claude Code CLI with your own account.
